FEES:
A $35 Charge will be applied at checkout if pet is not picked up within the hour after he/she is ready (APPLIES TO SALON ONLY)
A1) Cancellations, no show, Refusal of service, same day cancellations---------------- Because when we book your appointment, we give you a date and time to groom just your pet and no one else's the following charges will apply.
A2) Charge of card on file (card not present) has a $3 fee
B) Same day cancellation has a charge of $35 (we can only reschedule once without being charged)
C) Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours’ notice to waive the Cancellation fee of $35 per pet.
D) If you refuse the service being at the salon or at your house, you'll be charged $35 per pet
E) “De-matting" We don't perform this painful procedure, a shave down will be advised, In case you refuse the service being at the salon or at your house a $35 per pet will apply
F) In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. has the discretion to waive the fee within the 24 hour period.
——-We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.
——-No-Shows has a $35 charge, It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time (We’ll wait 20 Minutes) and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.
——We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule, when possible, to avoid such situations.

-Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....

"I acknowledge and agree that my pet is currently in good health and suitable for grooming and able to stand by himself on grooming table during grooming. However, in the event that grooming is performed on an elderly or weakened pet, I understand that there may be certain risks involved, and I assume full responsibility for any potential consequences and I release Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. and its employees from any liability related to such consequences.
I am aware that grooming procedures may expose pre-existing health or skin conditions in my pet. Therefore, I release Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. and its employees from any liability related to such conditions that may be uncovered during grooming.
I am aware that accidents can happen during grooming which Happy Tails Mobile Groommer Inc. will not be held liable.
By proceeding with the grooming service, I confirm that I have informed Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. of any known health issues or conditions my pet may have, and I grant them permission to provide grooming services based on this information."
——The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
——In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at PET OWNER expense.

Because your pet is severely tangled or matted, it is a greater risk of injury, stress and trauma. All precautions will be taken. However, problems occasionally arise, during or after grooming, such as nicks, clipper irritation and mental or physical stress for which Happy Tails Mobile Groomer, INC. cannot be held liable.

——Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash or credit card. Our rates are based on the breed and weight of the pet and duration of the groom. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
____ Puppies: We recommend starting at 12-weeks of age. The very first grooming appointment is an introduction to the puppy and the owner to the world of grooming. The puppy with be introduced to a bath, blow drying, nail clipping, and slight trimming. We do not recommend having a puppy be given a full hair cut the first time being groomed. The reason behind this is you are forcing the puppy to stand still and be handled for 1.5 hours. This is a lot to ask of a puppy. It would be like asking a one-year old child to sit without moving, going to the bathroom, or play with any toys for 45 minutes. That is why we only do the basics for puppies first groom. We bathe them, slowly dry them, trim the nails, trim the fur from around their eyes, pads, and around the sanitary area. This is about all they can handle. The puppy will be introduced to having scissors around the face, having to hold still while the pads on their feet are trimmed. Depending on how the puppy reacts to the first grooming we may recommend doing this type of trimming one more time before the full haircut. The more comfortable the puppy becomes with being handled by the groomer and being on a table, and in the tub the better the puppy will become as they grow up.
No Anesthesia Dental cleaning (ONLY DONE AT THE SUNRISE SALON)
1. Service Description:
Canine Brights will perform dental cleaning services for the Client's pet at Happy Tails Salon. The service typically takes approximately one hour to complete.
2. Appointment Basis:
Dental cleaning services are available by appointment only and a $50 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED. Clients must schedule appointments in advance to ensure availability.
3. Pet Health Requirements:
Canine Brights reserves the right to refuse service if the pet exhibits any of the following conditions:
Bleeding from the mouth
Cracked tooth
Aggressive behavior
Any other health issues that may be detected by the technician during the initial examination.
4. Independent Contractor Status:
Canine Brights operates as an independent company and is not an employee of Happy Tails Salon. Canine Brights is solely responsible for its actions, employees, and equipment while providing services at Happy Tails Salon.
5. Liability:
Happy Tails Salon shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during or as a result of the dental cleaning service provided by Canine Brights. Canine Brights agrees to maintain liability insurance to cover any potential liabilities arising from their services.
